Dr. Yoon is a licensed chiropractor and acupuncturist in Pennsylvania. He was born in South Korea, where he learned special traditional Korean acupuncture methods from his grandmother and also gained interest in learning about chiropractic and its integration with oriental medicine. He decided to study at Life University in Georgia after being inspired by Dr. Jenson, who learned directly from Dr. B. J. Palmer, the developer of chiropractic. During Dr. Yoon’s studies, he spent every vacation in California with Dr. Jenson to learn from him the specific Palmer method, called the H.I.O. Technique. Soon, he transferred from Life University to Cleveland Chiropractic College in Los Angelas so that he could further engage his studies of this technique and holistic healthcare. He was also trained under Dr. Banitch, a specialist in Upper Cervical Care.

After he graduated Cleveland Chiropractic College, he wanted to expand his knowledge of traditional Korean acupuncture methods, so he earned his Master’s Degree in Oriental Medicine at South Baylo University. He has continued to study here for his Doctorate in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. He has earned a clinical award during his core study of pain, stress, and adult illness at the university, and he is certified as a NCCAOM diplomate and in the N.A.E.T.
